Design a website, banners, landing pages & graphics

We are looking for a talented Web Designer to create amazing user experiences. You are a blend of web designer with strong graphics design creativity and front-end web development utilizing dynamic web programming experience. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior user interface design skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs. Responsibilities: • Execute all visual design stages from concept to coding • Create graphics, banners, landing pages, and web site(s) • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas • Create user interfaces, using front-end code in HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript to interface with backend code • Design layout and templates for maximum usability and focus on user experience • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to executive level stakeholders for review and approval • Use advanced CSS techniques in order to solve design issues • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards • Give expert design advice on projects, make recommendations for improving web sites • Work with web developers to apply style and user interface design to web applications • Closely follow trends and developments in technology and integrate them into our environment and practices. Requirements: • Demonstrable graphic and web design skills with a strong portfolio (online & offline) • Experience with enterprise Content Management Systems • Expert working knowledge of Visual Studio • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps • Experience with Flash • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other visual design and wire-framing tools • Proficiency in HTML (5), CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping. • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively • Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies • BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a Visual Arts subject
