Brochure on Observatory

I have attached a copy of Brochure and a [login to view URL] file of pictures.( as a sample) Note: I want it in PDF Format and References of pictures that you used in Word file. All pictures Should be either taken by Selected Observatory or about Selected observatory. My Topic : Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (MAKE Brochure on This) DETAILS: This project will involve the creation of a brochure for an astronomical observatory. You will create an informational pamphlet or brochure describing the observatory. Your one-page brochure will contain pictures (both of the observatory and images taken by it) and information about it. Topics to cover include: the location of the observatory, who owns/manages the observatory, what telescopes or instruments are used, how do you obtain time on the telescope(s), what important observations have been made there, any important historical events occurring there, etc. Create the brochure to appeal to both scientists and the general public. Include information to convince an astronomer why they should apply for time on your telescope(s). Also include information for the general public such as why they should visit your ground based observatory or why they should support using tax dollars for your space telescope. If you choose a telescope that is no longer in service, write the brochure as if it was still operational. I suggest using Microsoft Word or PowerPoint as you can add images and special text to make it visually appealing. If you use PowerPoint, be sure to create a handout with your slides that is in a one page brochure format. Rubric: 1.
