Logo Enhancement

We have an existing company logo. We want to refine it with depth and other visual treatments to make it appear three-dimensional, and translucent and perhaps metallic. The present logo has sharp edges. The Provider must redraw the logo so that it appears to be curved surfaces, with soft rounded edges similar to Examples 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 in the attached PDF. We do NOT want an extruded version of the current logo. The Deliverables are digital bitmap files, high, medium and low resolution. If Provider can provide work in other formats, please advise. We are seeking four (4) variations of the logo: 1. Opaque Orange metallic 2. Translucent Orange 3. Translucent clear 4. Opaque thin variant (FirmLogix example) We'd like to have the translucent versions be truly translucent, so that if we placed them on top of another graphic, the image in the back would appear faintly thru the logo. If this is not possible with the primary bitmap deliverables, Provider will explain and propose alternatives. The Project will work like this: 1. We will select a Provider who will receive our logo in a vector file format (Adobe ai or Corel cdr). 2. Provider will submit Draft One variations of the logos. 3. We will provide feedback and Provider will do final versions. The "angle" of the logo is important. It must be straight-on. In other words you are looking straight at it. It is not facing up except perhaps slightly if that angle is necessary to create the illusion of reflecting light. We expect to have additional work subsequently, including further variations, as well as other graphic arts projects.
