I've worked recently with a Sydney-based business coach on generating leads for them from LinkedIn - being effective here will require a subscription to LinkedIn Sales Navigator in order to make targeted approaches to individuals in your target market.
You should also ideally be using the platform to promote your own content - publishing directly on LinkedIn and sharing both content from your own website and suitable 3rd party content to build your authority. Ideally you should also be participating in appropriate LinkedIn group discussions to both build authority, and these fora will occasionally generate leads directly themselves.
I am established with a subscription to Buffer app for scheduling content to all major social media platforms, and to BuzzSumo for sourcing the most popular 3rd party content currently being shared on LinkedIn.
