the program should find the location of an active tag by using 4 readers. readers will receive signals from active tag, by using signal strength, the distance between the readers and tag will be found. by using 3 of these distances, trilateration method will be applied and the location of the tag will be found.
while generating the signals, path loss should be considered by using:
z'(d) = z(d0) + 10n log d/d0 (equation 1)
n is path loss exponent, 2<n<6
z(d0) is the measured quantity at a reference distance
the readers are put on the corners of a rectangular hall, their coordinates (0,0),(0,1000),(1000,0),(1000,1000). the tag is put somewhere inside this room. the algorithm should be able to find the coordinates of the tag correctly.
-signal will be generated by active tag
-readers will receive this signal which is changed due to path loss(equation 1)
-the 3 of the readers should be chosen because we will use trilateration method
-the distances will be found by using received signal strength
-the coordinates of the tag will be found by using trilateration method and the distances

Hey, I know this project well. One of my friends for his degree project made a similar project only he did it to find WiFi strength in any given grid of about 9X9. I know I can help you out with this project easily Más
