Hello Dear S.C. Nordic team! The task you specified can be divided into 2 problems: 1) physical connection layer of the mentioned devices &; 2) software communication protocol implementation. Both SUN2000 and Danfoss Inverters products support the RS485 hardware interface layer what makes it easier to unify the interfacing/controlling device you are about to use, as you've mentioned the Raspberry pi as example, but many other devices can be used. For example in case of using the Raspberry pi would be necessary to add an RS485 controller (ideally isolated). But depending on the case it would be possible to select a mini computer or controller board with already existing RS485 interface. This is regarding the physical connection layer. The communication protocols of these devices are pretty well documented so that wouldn't be a problem to make a software to control them. Are you planning to use wired or wireless (Wi-Fi) to connect your device to the network and your server? If you have your API developed to communicate with your server over MQTT, so let me know either if you have your way to connect to your server. After discussing these and more details we can select the best hardware for your solution or I can develop a custom device for your needs. This is the type of project that thrills me :) Oh Hello, I'm a system Architect, Back-end developer for the last 10 years. (and 22 years as Fronted & Server admin). I worked a lot with hardware, electronics, this includes Iot Agritech (MQTT), Bitcoin POS & Drone Logistics (using SBC with Pixhawk). I also work with micro-controllers & code firmware for embedded.
