I am expecting to pay £50 for a written report with recommendations and references.
The Task:
Write a report reviewing the best method to add various IO such as USB and Network to a PIC microcontroller project.
For an embedded system, I would like to be able to add various connectivity options at time of system production and possibly as after market upgrades.
The report should consider the trade off between micro with built in peripherals and flexibility of support chips/modules
Development time and complexity of integration should be minimum
Cost guide of different options (indication of development time vs part cost)
Long term supply availability
Please give references and supporting information.
The report should recommend solutions for each of these connectivity types

• Wired ethernet network connectivity
• WIFI network connectivity
