We are growing and looking for a hard working Payroll Specialist to join our team! You'll help our accounting team, carry out payroll related tasks for many local bars and restaurants in the Austin, Houston and San Antonio areas. The ideal candidate... Must be detail oriented and a self-starter Must be proficient Microsoft Excel Have the ability to keep clear and organized records Must have good communication skills to deal with clients Maintains high level of productivity with minimal supervision Professional and prompt in handling client correspondence phone calls Possess initiative and the ability to improve upon and complete tasks/procedures Ability to multi-task and prioritize Experience with payroll tax and state sales tax filings a plus Hours can be flexible but 40 hours a week required for benefits Our office is a small, laid back and pet friendly environment in the heart of South Lamar. We are willing to train a person with the right attitude. Benefits include health and dental coverage as well as paid vacation and holidays.
