Require to analyse 20,000 tweets for both their sentiment and emotion.
SENTIMENT
For tweets marked “TRUE”, you are required to determine the “(SENTIMENT)” of the tweet based on the tone, language and words used. You can also determine the (SENTIMENT) by the feelings in the tweet.
The (SENTIMENT) can be either:
1. POSITIVE or
2. NEUTRAL or
3. NEGATIVE
*Please refer to examples given if you are unsure of which sentiment to input. If you are unsure of the sentiment of the tweet, leave it as “NEUTRAL”.
EMOTION
For tweets marked with a “POSITIVE” or “NEGATIVE” emotion, you are required to determine the main “(EMOTION)” present in the tweet. You do not have to determine the emotion of a tweet if the SENTIMENT is marked as NEUTRAL.
THE (EMOTION) includes the following:
1. ANGER
2. DISGUST
3. FEAR
4. HAPPINESS
5. SADNESS
6. SURPRISE
*Please refer to examples given if you are unsure of which emotion to input. Please take note that even though the SENTIMENT present might be POSITIVE, the EMOTION present might be SADNESS.
