Bookkeepers to work from home

We are a leading bookkeeping and accounting firm in Melbourne led by a CPA. We have client work on MYOB and Xero. We require payroll, data entry, admin, AR and AP, and bank and credit card reconciliations. You have flexibility in the time of the day you work. To begin the work will be about 4-5 hours per week. Once you demonstrate your ability this will quickly increase to around 20-40 per week depending on your availability. We are seeking a long-term business relationship. The hourly rate is AUD $4 per hour. This is not negotiable but may increase to $4.50 AUD after 9 months. We provide you all software needed. To be successful you need strong communication skills (65 plus PTE scores). You must to pass a 90 minute exam from home that tests your ability on MYOB and Australian bookkeeping knowledge. Given many overseas people will fail the exam we are offering to train you up. We have a complete online training programme teaching MYOB and Australian legislation. We normally charge $990 for the course but would offer it to the right candidate free. You can choose to skip the training and do the exam first time but if you fail you will not be given a second attempt. You will have a 3 week limit to complete the 20 hours of training. You must be in a country that allows you to access Australian based websites. This likely rules out people in China. You must not be residing in Australia. The work must be done by you personally. If we find you are outsourcing the work or paying your staff to do the work we will not pay you. The country you are working in must allow you to work as contractor – we will not be employing anyone.
