PT 20hrs/WK Hi Potential Applicant, We are looking for a person who is very comfortable with the written English language. This Job will entail conversing via an online messaging portal on a regular basis with multiple customers. Logistics knowledge is required, Business terms like COD, COB tailgates and others will need to be in your arsenal. You will also be required to familiarize yourself with the metric measurement system if you have not already. The largest part of this job will be quoting on jobs that are in said portal. We will provide a program to generate quotes with multiple results, it will be up to you to decide which result is the best fit for the quote on hand. In the future we will consider having the applicant operating emails and invoicing. This will only be considered if the applicant proves they are excelling in their part time role. This job has the potential for fulltime hours with overtime for the right candidate.

Dear Project Owner I place my bid based on my experience for working in a shipping company. I started my career in P&O Nedlloyd, which was merged with Maersk Line in 2005. I handled the import section of P&O. I joined as regional management trainee and then became assistant manager there. I am aware of the shipping terms i.e LCL, FCL, CnF, FOB and the ICAO terms. Hi Daniel, Thank you for posting a detailed description of the Freight Assistant role. I am very interested in the job and know I will excel and grow in the role. I’m currently working for a lawn mowing company in Australia as a Sales & Client Manager. My work entails quoting for service jobs: small to huge jobs including other gardening services. Quotes are based on the size of the yards, current state of the grass (overgrown or not). A quote can be very simple and straightforward to very complex from $30 to over $1000 in a single transaction. In over a year that I’ve worked for the company, I’ve trained my eyes and brain to quote different kinds of jobs. I always believe in giving the best customer experience through keeping great relationships with my clients in order to convert them to regulars or returning customers. Reviews would confirm this. :) Although I’m currently employed full time, I can still work part time for your company from 530pm AEST, 3-4 hours a day and work on weekends as well. Looking for another job to augment my monthly income and hopefully be given a full time opportunity with your organization over time, develop new skills and grow into another role that will help the business.
