Hi I have an excel sheet containing nerly 2000 folder paths. I need a powershell script that takes the folders as an input and gives a list of permissions for all these folder paths as an output. I don't need the permissions for the subfolders inside the parent folder. All I need is the permissions for the folder paath only. Also I want to know if the permissions are inherited or not. And if permissions are inherited I want to know from where the permissions are inherited from. For example let's say the path is \\globalnewco\USA\Chicago\Benefits\ABC\XYZ. I want the permissions for the XYZ folder. I don't want the permissions for the sub-folders in side the XYZ folder. Also I want to know if the permissions for the XYZ folder are being inherited from the above folders like ABC or Benefits etc. If the permissions are inherited I want to know from which folder are the permissions are being inherited from(from ABC or from Chicago etc).
