Create Windows Sevice that calls an Async/Await method

I have a working project that works when running as a Console program. The console program simply calls the await process in a class that do an infinite loop and checking a server. Then I created a Windows Service in VS. Added a DoDebug() method that calls the OnStart() method and a #if DEBUG that creates an instace of the Service and run the DoDebug() and that way be able to debug the "service" in VS. This works. The problem is when i ret the project in Release and installutil... and then starts the Service. The progressbar goes fast to 50% and then very slow. This is what i want to start in the OnStart() of the Service " await InfraSecServerAsync(baseUrl, query, swishOrgnr, swishNumber, registerId, CancellationToken, timeOut); " This method starts an infinite loop that checks the InfraSec for data. I have uploaded the [login to view URL] (without refactoring to useable name) directly from VS template and the [login to view URL] with the code working in Debug (but not when running in Release/Service) The project needs alot of other parts to be installed before its possible to debug/test. I belive that the fastest way to see the problem and correct it is to use TeamViewer and work directly on my PC. IMHO this should be an easy task that can be done within a 2-3 hours work.
