My father's computer was infected by some hacking software. I'm not sure if it was CryptoLocker or something else. The technician has to reformat the computer, but before he did I save a bunch of files. There are a few Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word files that are important to me (my father has passed away) that I'd like to recover. When I click on the file, it just brings up characters, not the words or numbers. I'm hoping to find someone that I can send a test file to and if you are able to decrypt it, then I'll have 10-15 more that I need.
