Hello
if the user has not previously logged into my website; I want to create a cookie that works with a uniqueidentifier value value.
This cookie information I created; as long as the cookies session information is valid; it will only be written to the database once.
ex:
if [login to view URL]("[login to view URL]") = "" then
UyeCookiesID = "NEW UNIQUEIDENTIFIER ID"
[login to view URL]
rs("CustomerGuid") = "95c37384-5dd1-4e69-a28f-2065465119f7"
[login to view URL]
else
UyeCookiesID= [login to view URL]("[login to view URL]")
end if
when I'm trying to do this;
the error i got is this
***********
"Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e21'
Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done."
****************
I want this error to be solved primarily on classic asp.
It can be solved with .NET;
If it is done with .net, I need to check the entries outside the [login to view URL] page.
Therefore, the code to be written should work on [login to view URL] or web congif. I am open to suggestion. The project will generally be used with classic asp (.asp). I cannot include .net files on every page.
simple solution;
I can make my home page home.aspx. If the cookie ID value is blank or not available on other pages; I can force the user to get Cookie value on [login to view URL] page.
additional information to assist;
I create the cookie uniqueidentifier value as follows.
Set TypeLib = CreateObject ("[login to view URL]")
CreateGUID = Mid ([login to view URL], 2, 36)
**********
"" [login to view URL] "Set-Cookie", "[login to view URL] =" &CreateGUID & "; HttpOnly" ""
--------------------------------------------------
When I run this code over SQL, I can get a unique value.
DECLARE @UNI UNIQUEIDENTIFIER;
SET @UNI = NEWID();
SELECT @UNI;
But when I wrote a stored procedures on [login to view URL], I couldn't pull the value it produces.
I can provide FTP and DB information for testing.
best regards, good work.
Merhabalar,
I am interested to your project since I have great experience in classic asp with more than 15 years experience.
Would like to see whole code and discuss more.

Nurbek
