I need some basic ideas for a a victorian B&B kitchen in 3 bedroom suite. The current property is all wood and lots of trim. See pics. This kitchen was a kitchen for the staff to prep food for guests but now we are changing the configuration of this area and including it into a large 3 bedroom suite with a sitting area. The existing kitchen is very cheap looking simple and functional. We want to make it into an amenity for the guests staying in this suite. It is a separate area so doesn't have to match the existing decor but needs to feel like it makes sense for the suite. I imagine stone counter, either keep the existing stove or add a counter top gas top, add microwave, and dishwasher, probably keep the configuration of the sink in front of the window. New fridge, new flooring, new back splash. There is ample light in the room but it is narrow and long. We don't expect to change out the door or sidelights to the room. I could see blending in affordable cabinets from Lowes or Home Depots with possibly a built feature piece.
I do hard work with perfection and the result will not let you down. I am in great need of work and anyone who needs understands the importance of work.
Strong interest in home decor aesthetics, and from work experience very familiar with realty/rental spaces. Would love to work with you to help brainstorm, communicate; and accomplish your desired results. Also love the context of historical motifs, and curious if even some Post Victorian- Art Deco influences would be striking. There are some wonderful possibilities!
Communication is key with this project, many choices; and your satisfaction is paramount in completing this task.
