Hello, how many variations of the pieces and board are you looking for? Also, are you looking for the textures to be changed or the geometry as well? As for my skills, I am very familiar with Autodesk Maya as it is my go-to for creating assets and animations. I have created assets for games before including VR so I am familiar with optimization. I am also a lover of chess and have different chess sets at home. So I can even use those to model off of instead of just reference images online.
