My children’s picture book is designed in Canva and exported as a PDF at 8.25" x 12". When I upload that file to KDP the previewer chops off lines of text, slices parts of the illustrations, and throws margin-bleed warnings. I have already tried smaller font sizes, nudging artwork inward, and toggling bleed settings in Canva, yet KDP still rejects the interior. All I really need is a clean, print-ready interior (and, if you spot anything, an updated cover) that KDP will approve on the first pass. I have a completed Microsoft Word manuscript that I need converted into a clean, standards-compliant EPUB file. The book is text-only—there are no images to place or resize—so default styling that mirrors the headings, paragraphs, and simple lists already present in the document is all I’m after. What matters most to me is that the final EPUB opens flawlessly on the usual readers (Apple Books, Adobe Digital Editions, etc.), includes a functional, auto-generated table of contents, and passes EPUB validation without errors.
