The North Valley Community Foundation provides visionary community leadership by identifying emerging challenges in our region. The Foundation is looking for someone to design a logo for a fundraising event. The event will be called Week of Giving (or North Valley Week of Giving for the purposes of the logo) and is powered by the North Valley Community Foundation. The Week of Giving is a week-long fundraising event that is open to all humanitarian and charitable groups in the region. We ask you to create a logo for the Week of Giving that incorporates our current logo (or elements of it) in some way so that our involvement is immediately recognizable without just slapping our own logo on everything. Simple is always good. The logo will be used on social media, emails, and other forms of digital advertising. The color scheme can change (I am thinking of incorporating green for some reason, but I am happy to be proven wrong there). We are open to new ideas and formats for the logo. One dominant idea so far is to keep “North Valley” in a script-style font and have the Week of Giving take the place of Community Foundation. The current logo has a gradient, but feel free to do away with it. I have included a full-sized version of our logo. This logo predates me so I do not know the exact fonts used. Let your imagination go wild and create something that will help catch the eye of potential donors. Ideally, we would want the original file (.psd or .ai preferred), and .eps, and a regular .jpg
