We have a series of six web sites that have old, awkward logos. The logo consists of three elements:

1. A sailboat sail

2. A wave

3. A type treatment of the site name

The goal of the contest is to re-combine or modify these three elements to make a cohesive logo.

Guidelines: We like simple design, the simpler the better. We do not want an ornate logo. We want the type to be large, perhaps even dominant.

Restrictions: You cannot change the type font. The sail and wave may be modified in any way you want. We would prefer a white background unless you have a compelling reason to change that.

For the contest, please submit your ideas for ONLY the Sailboatowners.com logo.

Work product: the winner will produce 1 high resolution file (300 dpi psd) and 1 vector file of each logo (there are 6, total).

Same type font is preferred but not required. Other elements can and should change. You named the six sites correctly, Trailer Sailor is not part of this project. Yes, a psd file for each site at 300dpi, size appropriate for hi-res print applications, just to be safe.

For clarification purposes, you want me to use the same font for the type and change the sailboat and wave images in the logo, then provide you with a PSD file at 300 DPI and 6 images, one for each site. What dimensions for the logo would you prefer? And are the six sites these: SailboatOwners.com | BeneteauOwners.com | CatalinaOwners.com | HunterOwners.com | MacgregorOwners.com | OdayOwners.com? Would you like one for The Trailer Sailor as well?
