Firstly I'm a woman, so please don't be sexist by addressing me as "Sir". This job is only for the graphic arts portion of my site (not HTML, not anything else).

Secondly - everyone on Freelancer claims to be the best at what they do, whether they have a 3% re-hire rate or 56%, a 100% job completion rate or 80%. Claiming to be the best means nothing to me, nor does your portfolio, because over half the freelancers who have submitted work to me used a false portfolio of someone else's work to trick me into giving them a chance. Then when their sample work came in, it was amateur when their portfolio was 100% PRO.

Because there is so much dishonesty on this site (and so little real talent) I'm creating a contest. This way you don't try to tell me how good you are, you get to show me.

For the sake of this contest you will be designing the LED Grow Lights Landing Page. Attached you will find a word document explaining my vision for the page, and one artist's concept for this page. The concept was incomplete, but I like many elements. Your job is to design this page even better and amaze me with your graphic talents. Do that and the rest of my site is yours to design, and as long as you work/communicate with me professionally, you'll be my new graphic artist long-term for all projects in the future (product boxes, fliers, brochures, etc).

I have 19 pages to re-design from www.hydrogrowled.com for my new website. The winner of this contest will be given the opportunity to complete the remaining pages. I have budgeted a total of $400 for a graphic artist for this contest, which includes the additional pages listed below. So that's $300 to complete the remaining pages and $100 to see what you can do on just one page.
