Resumen del concurso
Please create a graphic of a human body depicting 15 specific body parts.
The graphic will be used on the cover of a book as well as an illustration throughout the book. The book is a curriculum to teach people from age 4 to adult how to be more aware of their bodies and the signals the body sends. The book goes through 15 different body parts, and we would like all 15 depicted in one graphic.
Hands - Skin color
Feet - Skin color
Mouth - Shade of pink
Eyes - Brown
Ears - Skin color
Nose - Skin color
Voice (voice bubble) - Color or choice
Cheeks - Skin color
Skin (represent on a leg) - Skin color
Muscles (represent on other leg) - Shade of pink
Lungs - Color of choice
Heart - Shade of red or pink
Brain - Color of choice
Stomach - Color of choice
Bladder - Color of choice
For the skin color, please make it a shade of tan/beige rather than light/white because we try to be inclusive and diverse with our products.
I am including a sample of the kind of graphics the author of the book likes, but please use the approach you feel is best for the project. She has specified that she wants something clean and simple. We'd like for kids to find appealing, but have it also suitable for teens and adults. We are concerned that having all 15 may be too much, but we are hoping to find a designer that can elegantly combine all 15 into one image.
Once we select the winner, we will pay the designer an additional agreed-upon amount for graphics of each individual body part as its own graphic as well as a blank outline of the body with no parts on it. The idea is that those who use the book will print out a blank body outline and can cut out pictures of the body parts and place it on the body. Additionally, each body part graphic will be used in the chapter about that body part and in a card set that accompanies the book. You do not need to include these graphics in your submission, but we wanted to make sure you were aware this may be required if your design is selected.
